This museum inaugurated in 1996, displays 500 works of art on the 200 years old history of Tehran; also shown cultural penetration from Western to Eastern countries, like Iran (specially in Qajar Dynasty).

Items of contemporary (last 200 years) Iranian history, including Nasser-ed-Din Shah’s persomal effects, vesels, paintings by Kamal-ol-Molk, etc.In opening space, observed special image of Persian carpet (Medallion-corner) in the form of Garden.

Its floor has been decorated with Aigrette (Traditional decoration of Persian carpet) image by stone.

Exhibition involves Qajar painting from painters like Kamalolmolk, Mosavarolmamalek, Sanii Homayon, Hussein Khatal and the others, and also observed some dishes made in Iran, which some offered by European Kings.

Here, found a picture-gallery, has got periodic programs to exhibit ancient picture's of Tehran. Special methods of painting on skin and leather of animals, which were used to paint, are shown. Library of this museum, allocated to staff
